Q. How will the new duties of the Disability Discrimination Act affect you?

The final duties of Part III of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 came into force during October 2004. Service providers will have a duty to make adjustments to any physical features of their premises that make it impossible or unreasonably difficult for disabled people to use their services.
